Bring yourself and a companion for a memorable adventure into the world of falconry right here on our private property. This $160 experience covers two guests and offers a unique, hands-on session lasting about an 1.5hrs. You’ll learn how to lure-fly one of our falcons and take a peaceful hawk walk with our Harris hawks as they follow you and land on your glove. Throughout the experience, you'll also gain insights into the art of falconry and the importance of raptor preservation. It’s the perfect chance to take photos, enjoy the beautiful views, and immerse yourself in a truly special experience.

Falconry Experience II (Observer)

$25.00

If you have additional guests who only want to observe and take photos without participating, you can add them as spectators for $25 each. This spectator fee is added on top of the base experience cost.

In other words, the $150 base fee covers two people (one participant and one companion). If that companion prefers to be a spectator, or if you bring additional spectators, you simply add $25 for each spectator. This way, everyone can enjoy the experience in the way they prefer!

Hawk walk/ Hawk talk/Falconry talk

Experience the ancient art of falconry with Raul Ramirez and the team at Northwest School of Falconry. This unforgettable hands-on experience gives you the opportunity to walk alongside our trained hawks while learning the fundamentals of falconry, including how these incredible birds are cared for, handled, trained, and prepared for hunting.

During your experience, you will witness the birds in action and enjoy the thrill of calling a hawk directly to your glove while exploring the field with our falconers. Whether you are a first-time guest or a lifelong bird enthusiast, this is a unique opportunity to connect with these majestic birds of prey in a personal and memorable way.

Fall & Winter Schedule

Experiences are available 5 days a week. Please note that we are typically closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

All experiences are weather dependent, and scheduling may vary according to field conditions and bird safety. After booking, you will receive an email with available dates, meeting instructions, and the exact location for your experience, which is typically held near Kennewick.

The Falconry Experience II lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

Do we get to interact with the birds?

Yes, You get to learn how to hold and call the hawks to your fist and the falcons to the lure.

Can I book an experience with months in advance?

Absolutely. When the day of the experience is getting close we need to take a look at the weather site to make sure that the chosen date would be suitable for it (due to changes).
